Brooks Nursery is a major wholesale production nursery situated in Monbulk within the Dandenong Ranges. The company specialises in quality potted colour and began operating in the 1980’ as a specialty potted plant farm with plastic houses. Today, it has grown to have over 10 different specialty plant varieties in over 10, 000 sqm of automated hothouses (glass houses).
The dominant plant variety is the Poinsettia which Brooks produces on mass for the Christmas period. Other potted colour grown at Brooks includes Cyclamen, Asiatic & Oriental Lillies; Chrysanthemum, Begonia & Cymbidium Orchids and a variety of potted bulbs.
